Design & Build: The Hisense REF205DR is a 205-litre double door refrigerator in silver, providing full family refrigeration capacity in the standard double-door top-freezer format at a price that is KES 8,120 below the no-frost 203-litre REF203DR, making it the value choice for buyers who prefer the lower purchase price of a direct cool model over the maintenance convenience of no-frost technology.
Cooling Performance: Direct cool technology maintains reliable temperatures in both the top freezer and lower refrigerator sections, providing practical everyday cold and frozen storage for a standard family household’s weekly grocery needs in a well-sized 205-litre double-door format.
205-Litre Family Capacity: At 205 litres, the REF205DR provides enough combined freezer and refrigerator space for a small to medium family’s everyday food storage requirements, with a full-width freezer section offering meaningful frozen food capacity alongside a spacious main refrigerator section for fresh food, dairy, beverages, and produce.
Value vs No-Frost Trade-Off: The REF205DR at KES 38,280 versus KES 46,400 for the no-frost REF203DR saves KES 8,120 at the cost of periodic manual defrosting. For buyers whose priority is the lowest purchase price for a 200-litre-class double-door refrigerator, the REF205DR provides the capacity without the no-frost premium.
Practical Features: Full-width top freezer, crisper drawer, adjustable glass shelves, door bin storage, adjustable thermostat, and silver finish provide a complete and practical family-sized double-door refrigerator feature set at a competitive price.
