HISENSE FRIDGE 230L BOTTOM FREEZER SILVER REF226DR

Design & Build: The Hisense REF226DR is a 230-litre bottom mount freezer refrigerator in silver, positioning the freezer in the lower section and the main refrigerator at eye level for a more ergonomically comfortable daily fresh food access experience suited to users who access the refrigerator section far more frequently than the freezer.

Cooling Performance: Direct cool technology maintains reliable temperatures in both the upper refrigerator and lower freezer sections, providing consistent cold storage throughout the combined 230-litre interior for a family’s everyday fresh and frozen food storage requirements.

Bottom Freezer Ergonomics: Placing the refrigerator section at eye level means the most-used fresh food storage is always immediately and comfortably accessible without bending, while the bottom freezer drawer is accessed less frequently for frozen goods. For households that open the fridge many times daily but access the freezer only once or twice, this layout reduces the total physical effort involved in daily food management significantly.

Bottom Freezer vs Top Freezer Value: The REF226DR at KES 52,200 is priced the same as the 250-litre no-frost top mount REF250DR but with 20 fewer litres and direct cool. The premium is in the bottom freezer layout and its ergonomic advantage. Buyers who highly value refrigerator-level eye-height access may find this trade-off worthwhile for their daily kitchen workflow.

Practical Features: Bottom freezer drawer for ergonomic fresh food priority access, crisper drawer, adjustable glass shelves, multiple door bins, adjustable thermostat, and silver finish provide a practical and ergonomically considered family refrigerator feature set.
